ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 07/19/1919 Thorson, Nellie
(Marriage - 16 Jul 1919) On Wednesday
afternoon, July 16, 1919, at the parsonage of the Norwegian
Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls, Wis., occurred the marriage of
Miss Nellie Thorson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Thorson of
Longwood, Clark County, Wis. and Mr. Roland Haire of this city. The ceremony,
which was performed by Rev. Lee, was very simple. The only
attendants were Miss Ethel Nichols and Mrs. Harold Nichols of this
city, who accompanied them in an automobile to Chippewa Falls. After the ceremony
the happy couple left the city on an automobile trip to various
parts in the western part of the state. The bride is an
accomplished and popular young lady of this city, and has clerked
at the store of P. J. Abler for some time. It is needless to say
that she will make a bright and happy home for Mr. Haire. The groom
is a very popular young man who has recently purchased a farm east
of the city, and is well worthy of the bride he has chosen. After
August 1st they will be at home to their friends at their farm near
Owen, Clark County. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
