John B. Riplinger

John Benjamin Riplinger, 86, of 5931 S. Yakima Ave., died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born in Colby, Wis., and came to Tacoma in 1908 from Portland.

He was a retired carpenter and cabinet maker, owner of the former Riplinger Cabinet Works. He was a former member of the Tacoma Eagles Lodge Aerie No. ???? and the Carpenters Union Local 470.

Surviving are four sons, George, and Ricard B., both of Tacoma, John B. Jr. of Silverdale and Arthur R. of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude A. Pelesky of Puyallup and Mrs. Ruth Dwornick of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. George L. Davis of Portland; and seven grandchildren.

Services are announced today at Mountain View Funeral Home.
