Perrin Cranmer has a field of corn twenty-five acres in extent which probably cannot be excelled anywhere in the state. The stalks are abut nine feet, of an even height, and the ears are large, well filled out and plentiful. A man can ride horseback through the field and not been seen. Last week three children were lost in the corn for several hours until their cries were heard by Mr. Cranmer.
