Navy Yeoman 2nd Class William K. Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hansen,
Neillsville, recently departed on a deployment to the western Pacific.
He is a crew member aboard the destroyer tender USS Cape Cod, home-ported in San
Diego. During the deployment, the ship will participate in various training
exercises with other U.S. units and those of allied nations. Several Far Eastern
port visits are scheduled.
