St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Owen, was the setting for the June 11 wedding of
Debra Mae Lindgren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin, Porath, Route 2, Owen, and
Robert Brook Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hansen, New Brighton, Minnesota.
Singing for the wedding was Mona Koplitz and organist was Rhonda Buss.
The bride, was given in marriage by her parents, had a lace bridal gown and veil
of illusion. In her bouquet were yellow roses, baby's breath and forget-me-nots.
Bridal attendants were Holly Amacher of Madison, maid of honor; Liz Tanck of
Appleton, Debbie Berg of Eau Claire, Kay McNamee of Minneapolis and Barb
Lindgren, Owen, bridesmaids; and Jennifer Lindgren, flower girl.
Brian Bonk, Owen, was best man. Groomsmen were Tony Cook of Withee, Marty
Reinking of Madison, Ray McNamee of Minneapolis and Gary Lindgren, Owen, and
ushering were Loren Driscoll and Todd Swanson.
The reception and dance were at the VFW Hall. Colby. The newlyweds had a week's
honeymoon in the Wisconsin Dells and other southern Wisconsin areas.
The bride, a 1981 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, works at the Abby Cafe in
Abbotsford. Her husband, a 1981 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, is an
employee of Weather Shield Manufacturing Inc., Medford.
