Tony was born on March 20, 1932, the son of Bruno and Martha (Wegner) Jarocki,
Sr. in Withee. As a young man, he was drafted and served three years in the U.S.
Army during the Korean Conflict as a Communications Specialist. Tony was
stationed at Fort Gordon, GA Military Base in Augusta, GA. It was there that he
married his bride, Darleen Kubera on August 8, 1953. Upon his honorable
discharge in 1956, Tony and Darleen purchased the farm located at Reseberg Ave,
Withee. There, they raised six wonderful children. Through the years they made
improvements to livestock and land. Tony was involved with several organizations
including the Registered Holstein Association where he prided himself on the
development of Darlan Registered Holsteins. He also served as a loan advisor for
FHA, was involved with the FFA, ADA, Veterans Vocational Training, served on the
board of directors for Clark Electric Coop for 37 years and was part of the team
who launched the satellite division.
On Tony's retirement from the farm, he remained active in the community. He
loved RVing, card playing and gaming, woodworking and golfing, saying he was
working on his "loft", and always making everyone smile. After Sunday Services,
Tony and Darleen would meet friends for an ecumenical breakfast. He also enjoyed
reading, gardening, planting and caring for his 1500 balsam Christmas trees.
Tony loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, making them all
laugh at his silly jokes.
To the end, Tony would say, "never say goodbye, always say, see you later".
Tony is survived by his wife of 68 years, Darleen; five children: Kenneth Lee
(April) Jarocki, Nanci Susan Jarocki (Steve Yennior), Shelli Anne Jarocki (Randy
Warmka), Roger Anthony Jarocki and Kelly Randall Jarocki; grandchildren: Hallie
Steffen Gordon, Michael (Jessica) Graham, Nicholas Graham, Codey (Trista)

And, as long as we have memories, yesterday remains. As long as we have hope,
tomorrow awaits. As long as we have love, today is beautiful. As long as you
have God, anything and everything is possible.
Amen.
