Larson, Martina J. (17 JUN 1856 - 9 Jul 1920)

Martina Johanna Peterson was born in Loliand, Denmark, June 17, 1856. She came to the U. S. in 1892 and was married April 6, 1895 at Ashland, Wis. to Peter Larson. Later they moved to Clark County, Wis. and had resided in Owen for two years previous to the death of Mrs. Larsen.

Death came at 1:20 Friday morning July 9, 1920. Mrs. Larson was 64 years and 22 days old at the time of her death. Her illness had been prolonged for some wile and was due to cancer of the stomach. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock from the Congregational Church, Rev. Crow of Withee officiating. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery. Mourning her loss remain her husband, one daughter, Dora, at home and one son, Eric, wife and grandson of Stevens Point, and many nieces and nephews.
