Lund, Mariane (26 NOV 1856 - 12 Jan 1921)

Mrs. Detliv Lund, a resident of the village of Withee, Clark County, Wis., died at her home in that village on Wednesday morning about 2:30, following an illness of about a week, the cause of death being pneumonia. Mrs. Lund was trouble with lung trouble during the past summer and fall and the severe attack of pneumonia was more than she could endure. She was sixty-four years of age, and was very active in church work until her health failed her, being a member of the Danish Lutheran Church of that village.

She leaves to mourn, her husband and three children, Mrs. Varming of North Dakota, Agneta, who is at home, and one son who is located in the west.

Funeral arrangements as yet have not been completed, awaiting word from Mrs. Varming, as to whether or not she can be present at the funeral. Her home being some sixty miles from a railroad point, it will require some little time for a message to reach her.
