E. D. Webster went to Chicago last week and purchased a fine driving team for H. M. Root. They are seal brown in color, and are beauties.

A. F. Hein and wife were in our city Sunday making arrangements to move here within a week. Mrs. Hein says she is tired of living in the country.

Last Saturday, two teams of D. E. Barker’s left here with lumber which he intends to haul to Plainfield to build himself a house, where is goes to live in a short time.

Several weeks ago a horse stepped on Chas. Cornehus’ foot and badly bruised it, but he paid little or no attention to it. While transacting business up at Medford two weeks ago the foot became so painful that he was compelled to remain in bed most of the time, until the fore part of last week, when he was able to return home.

Sunday J. O. Carbys was heard telling some great fish stories - one in particular about his catching a nice pickerel, attracted the attention of a Press reporter, but upon inquiry it was learned that John Servaty caught the fish, and on account of his having but one hand, Carbys helped to remove it from the hook.

Anderson A. Austrang have had built a fine bar outfit for their Greenwood saloon. The panel work, etc, is all made of black ash, and furnished in its natural color. The top of the counter and side board are of red oak. The work was done by C. F. Moe, who is well know around here as being one of the best carpenters in the place. The size of the plate glass mirror is four by nine feet. The work on the outfit shows great skill and mechanical ingenuity.
