Charlie Wesserberger has purchased Ed Markey’s saloon business, and will hereafter conduct that place. Ed has had erected for the convenience of the saloon, a long stall shed where farmers can put their teams out of the wet during a rain storm.

Jos. Attendale, bound over the circuit court last fall on the charge of setting fire to a dwelling house, here owned by Ira Greeley, was given his liberty last week. No direct evidence could be secured to insure his conviction and he was discharged without being give the formality of a trail (Thorp Courier)
