GREENWOOD: C. W. Chandler and Geo. Shodwick have bought the Wright farm of W. Allen, of Loyal, and have moved their families onto the place. Mr. Chandler sold his farm near this city about two years ago and moved to Canada, but is glad to get back to Clark county - his first love - and his many friends here are just as glad to see him back.
Robt. Schofield will buy logs this winter to stock up the mill yard at the Black river bridge near this city.
Mable Thompson is at home at the general delivery window in the post office, and everything runs smooth again there.
Mrs. Rossman wants a tenant for her farm house and offers rent free for the winter, on account of insurance
Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Morrison, of Blanchardville, will visit her parents at the Schofield residence on Christmas.
Denver Green has gone to Bayfield for the winter, in the employ of J. C. Miller.
T. A. Anderson has his new store building nearly enclosed.
