Ask Phil Berg how to put up wind mills. The other day he put up one for Jess Lowe and did not discover that he had got the cane on wrong and the wheel backwards until he got down on the ground and looked up at the top.

Harry Darling, who all summer has been working in the spoke factory for 75 cents a day, was a few days ago advanced to work that paid him a $1.25 per day, and either being unable to stand so much prosperity these hard times, or having his brain too full of girl, he had the misfortune to have a couple fingers badly mutilated. (Vickie adding - $1.25 in 1893 equals $24.04 in 2002)
