Frank G. Glass and Maud Montgomery were married on February 9th, ’95, in Neillsville, at the home of the bride, by Rev. G. N. Foster.

A postoffice has been opened in Clark county at Hemlock and on Feb. 9th the president appointed David Warner postmaster at that place.

Last Thursday night Peter Hart fell on an icy sidewalk and broke his arm. He was on his way home from his saloon when this occurred.

Otto Neverman is now hauling water for those who have been cut off from the city water supply on account of the scarcity of water at the pumping station.

Mrs. Jessie McConnell arrived in this city Friday evening to attend her mother’s funeral. While in Ohio Mrs. McConnell was quite ill for some time with rheumatism.

Alvin Withee left this city Monday for Sault Ste. Marie, where he goes to take a position as postal clerk on the Soo road to Pennington. His family will follow him in a few weeks.
