Ethie Kemery went to Tomah, Wednesday, on a visit to Mr. Kellogs’ people.
Mamie Walker has left school and will devote her entire time to music and voice culture.
Emmel Webster and wife of Nasonville, were in the city over Sunday, the guests of Alderman E. D. Webster.
Anthony Gress and wife of Minneapolis, former residents of this city, are here for a few days visit with friends.
Herman Younkee, of Lynn, was blown into town yesterday by a huge gust of March wind. He was a welcome caller at the PRESS den.
Mrs. C. E. Perkins, who has spent the past winter with her daughter, Mrs. S. A. Walker, of this city, returned to home in Arcadia, last Thursday.
Tom Robinson had a valuable hunting dog accidentally shot by W. L. Newell, Sunday, while out hunting rabbits. Tom says he took the dog for a rabbit and banged away, and it was a wonder that one or all of the hunting party were not shot.
Elsie Rogers visited her sister at Mogan last week.
Dirk Algia of Melvina, was the guest of Joe Rundorf the past week.
Norman Shafer and Mrs. Frank Potter have returned home.
Noel Rogers bought 40 acres of land from Len Whitcomb last week. Consideration $700.
Frank Turner, Bill Hawks and Arthur Garvin have each purchased 40 acres near Chili.
A report from Hogan says that Ed Bailey, formerly of this place, is dangerously ill.
Levi Fulwiler has rented his father-in-law’s farm and will try his luck at farming.
Fred Cole of Neillsville, spent a few days with Al Turner the first of the week.
Mrs. Algia of Melvina, has come to live with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Randorf.
Delbert Benedict of Withee, visited his parents here last week. He and his wife left for La Crosse Monday.
Myrta Bolton of Humbird, was the guest of Floy and Ethel King Sunday.
Will and George Huff left last week for Montana.
LOYAL: George Hills is smiling over the arrival of a baby girl. Albert Welsh smiles for the same reason.
A brother of A. K. Prior is here from Indiana on a visit. He is accompanied by his daughter who will remain and attend school.
Frank Dresden built a new barn Monday. It is a dandy, but answers all purposes.
