Mrs. Anna Dangers who has been very sick, is slowly recovering, much to the delight of her many friends.

George Lloyd is having a sidewalk built along the south side of his building, occupied by Balch a. Tragdorf.

Lizzie Elbert went to Minneapolis Saturday to visit her sister Mary, who is there receiving medical treatment.

Sam Cawley was arrested Friday charged with using abusive language to August Schmeler, and was acquitted of the charge. CHINCH BUG AND ARMY WORM - Spencer, Wis. Farmers south of here are complaining of the ravages of the clinch bug and army worms. Whole fields in the south part of Spencer and northern part of Lincoln townships ate cinch stripped and the ground is perfectly bare. The army worm devastated the same territory last year. They work mostly on meadows and crops put in on sod land. A warm rain yesterday broke the drought which was causing alarm and aside from the pests mentioned, crop prospects were never better.
