Long, Ruby (Marriage - 14 Apr 1920)
Miss Ruby Long of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) and Mr. Edward Acker of Greenwood, Clark County, were quietly married at St. Paul on Wednesday afternoon. The young couple left on the early morning train for St. Paul and are spending the week in that city. Upon their return they will make their home on the groom's farm southeast of Owen.
Miss Long is a daughter of Mr. John Long and is a graduate of the Owen High School, and has spent the greater portion of her life here. She is one of the popular young ladies of the city and before her marriage was bookkeeper in the office of Wm. Weaver contractor.
Mr. Acker is one of the promising young farmers of this vicinity and only the best wishes of their friends goes to them for a happy wedded life.
