Hurley, Katharine (Marriage - 16 Jul 1921)
Mr. Clifford Elliott and Miss Katharine Hurley were united in marriage on Saturday evening at 10:30 o'clock at the home of the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William Tuttle. The young couple were attended by Mr. F. L. Crye and Miss Irene Hurley, a sister of the bride. Only immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present at the wedding. Light refreshments were served following the ceremony.
Miss Hurley for the past two years has been a teacher in the Brady school four miles north of Curtiss, Clark County, Wis., and while there gained many friends, and during her weekend visits here, she became acquainted with many, all of who wish her much happiness in wedded life.
Mr. Elliott for the past ten years has held a position with the John S. Owen Lumber Co. as electrician for their lighting plant and is an honest and industrious young man.
After a wedding trip to St. Paul and Minneapolis of a week, the young people will return here and be at home to their friends after Aug. 1.
