Sybil Wells is visiting Dr. Lyman’s people at Mendota, where the doctor is superintendent of the insane asylum at that place.

Louis Sontag received a slight stroke of paralysis last week from which he is confined to his home, though it is thought he will soon recover.

William Klein, of Grant, was a welcome caller at the PRESS office Saturday last.

Miss Nellie Clark, of Alma Center, and Miss Jessie Mortiboy, of Hixton, have been visiting in this city the past week, the guests of Miss Jennie Alexander.

Mrs. Frank A. Flower, of West Superior, a niece of Mrs. J. F. Schuster, of this city, is here on a visit, as are also Mrs. C. F. Powers and two daughters, on Onalaska, who are relatives of Mrs. Schuster.

Mrs. Henry Myers and daughter Marion accompanied Mr. Myers to Madison Monday, where they will visit for a few days and then go to Evansville, where they will spend some time visiting among relatives.

Marshall Harry Ober, of Granton, visited this city Monday. He informs the PRESS man that he has just purchased a farm of Frank Converse, situated in the town of York, for his grand daughter and her husband and made them a present of it.
