Johnson, Anna K. (14 Dec 1854 - 29 Jul 1923)
Mrs. Anna Katherine Johnson, after a lingering illness of many years, passed away, Monday evening July 29, 1923, at the age of 69 years.
She was born in Norway, Dec. 14, 1854. In the month of October 1880 she was married to John T. Johnson and the following year they immigrated to America, settling at Black River Falls, where they resided for six years, from there removing to Owen, Clark County, Wis., where they resided for thirty years. Ten children were born to them, five of who have passed away. She was a kind and affectionate wife and mother and leaves to mourn her loss a husband, four boys, Julius, Anton, Albert and Fred and one daughter, Mable, Mrs. Sisco, two brothers and seventeen grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home of her son, Fred Johnson, and at the Congregational Church at 2 o'clock, Rev. W. H. Sargent officiating. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.
