Looker, Opal (Marriage - 14 JUN 1922)
A pretty home wedding, where only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present, occurred on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock, when Miss Opal Looker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Looker, residing just south of the village (Withee, Clark County, Wis.), and Mr. Edwin Lange, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. Grandy of the Methodist Church performed the ceremony. The happy couple was attended by Theron Looker, a brother of the bride, and Miss Sarah Lange, a sister of the groom.
Miss Looker was one of the promising young ladies of the village and for the past year has been a teacher in the public schools, and has many friends who wish for her only happiness in her wedded life.
Mr. Lange is a prosperous young farmer, recently taking over the management of his father's farm, three miles south of the village, and it is here that they will make their future home.
After the ceremony a wedding supper was served and a reception held.
