Kimball, Etta (Marriage - 30 Sep 1922)
Miss Etta Kimball, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kimbal of the town of Maplehurst, Taylor Co., and Mr. Stanley Stryk of Redville, Clark County, Wis., were quietly married Saturday morning, Sept. 30, 1922, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, by Judge Buckley at Medford, Wis.
The young couple left Redville early Saturday morning, accompanied by Mr. Emil Hansen and Miss Isabelle Kimble, who went to Medford with them and acted as witnesses at the wedding.. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Stryk left immediately in their automobile for a trip west, where they will visit the Yellowstone National Park and other places of interest, remaining away for more than a month.
Miss Kimble, who has bee a resident of Maplehurst for only a few years, has gained a large circle of friends through her personality and ladylike ways, and all join in wishing her a happy wedded life.
Mr. Stryk for a number of years has been the operator of a large box factory and saw mill in Redville, and is that little town's biggest booster. He is a likeable young man and a hustler.
Upon their return home Mr. and Mrs. Stryk will be at home in Redville, where the groom has a large home adjoining his saw mill property. Best wishes for life's journey is the hope of all who know them.
