Mr. Clark E. Merriman and Miss Leona Johnson were quietly married at the home of the bride on Wednesday, March 28, 1923, Rev. W. H. Sargent officiating. Mr. Arthur Stewart and Miss Mildred Merriman, sister of the bridegroom attended the bridal party. The immediate relatives were present to a pretty six o'clock dinner.

The young couple was very popular, having both graduated from the Owen High School. The bride has been employed for the last five years as stenographer for the John S. Owen Lumber Co. The groom has attended the Wis. State University, from which he recently returned.

He left Wednesday night for Chillicotte, Ill., where he has accepted a position with the Santa Fe Railroad as civil engineer.
