Fischer, Mildred (Marriage - 15 JUN 1923)
The marriage of Mr. Miles E. Barager, a former resident of Owen and Withee, Clark County, Wis., to Miss Mildred Fischer of Estero, Florida, occurred on Friday, June 15, 1923, at Decatur, Illinois, where a simple but beautiful ceremony was performed by a Presbyterian minister before the immediate relatives of the young people.
The wedding took place at 12 noon, and was followed by a reception in the young couple's home.
The bride, who was charming in white, is a Florida girl who came north three years ago, Mr. Barager having met her while he was at Madison, attending the University of Wisconsin, which school he finished in 1921.
Miss Fischer's education has all been received in the South, with the exception of a term of school at Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, Pa.
Out of town guests at the ceremony were Mrs. Ida Fischer, mother of the bride, Estero, Fla.; Mrs. A. L. Barager, Owen, Wis.; and Irving C. Barager, Eau Claire, Wis.
The young people will be at home at 176 Woodlawn Av., Decatur, Ill., after a wedding trip to St. Louis.
