Thompson, Minette (Marriage - 20 JUN 1923)
Robert Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Stewart, of Redville, Clark County, Wis., and Miss Minette Thompson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thompson of the village of Abbotsford, Wis., were united in marriage at the home of the bride at two-thirty o'clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, June 20, 1923, Rev. Ivar C. Dahl of Dorchester officiating. The witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. Olin Thompson of Abbotsford, brother-in-law and sister of the groom.
The bride wore a beautiful crepe de chine gown and carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations, while the groom was attired in light gray.
The groom served about sixteen months overseas in the late war in the medical department. Robert is a cheesemaker and his bride a former school teacher.
After a short trip through the northern part of Wisconsin, the young folks will be at home to their friends at Maple Grove Cheese Factory at Curtiss, Clark County, Wis.
Those who attended the festivities were the near relatives of the bride and groom.
Both young people are well and favorably known and have a host of friends who join in wishing them a pleasant happy journey through life.
