Laneville, Elsie (Marriage - 6 Jul 1923)
A very pretty wedding took place Friday July 6, 1923, when Miss Elsie Laneville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Laneville, became the bride of Mr. Alex McAdam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McAdam. Rev. W. H. Sargent of the First Congregational Church of Owen, pronounced the words that made the happy couple man and wife.
Mrs. McAdam is a well known lady of the village of Withee, Clark County, Wis., being a graduate of the Withee High School and for the past few years has been in charge of the Laneville Restaurant, in which position she gained a large circle of friends.
The groom is a young man favorably known in the community, having been employed in the meat business for several years, and at present is the local manager of Weisbrod & Co., who recently opened a new meat market in the village.
Early Sunday morning the young couple left for a honeymoon trip through the southern part of the state by automobile, visiting at the Dells and other points of interest. After their return they will be at home at Withee, where the groom has fitted up a home in which to begin housekeeping.
A host of friends extend heartiest congratulations to the happy couple through their life's journey together.
