L. M. Sturdevant went to Merrillan Monday.

Ed Furlong fell down Friday night and dislocated his elbow.

Henry Mulvey, of Loyal, transacted business in this city Monday.

Geo. B. Parkhill, of Thorp, was in this city Tuesday on Business.

W. H. Butler, of Granton, came down Tuesday to transact business.

Miss Carrie Jones of Loyal, is visiting friends in this city this week.

Vet Marsh of Granton, Transacted business at the county seat yesterday.

M. W. Carlon, wife and son, of Longwood, are in the city visiting friends.

Father Volz went to Madison Monday for a visit with an old time friend.

Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Simon and daughter, of Myra, Washington county, Wis., arrived int his city Tuesday to make their future home with their children, John Simon, Mrs. Hohn Marks and Mrs. Philip Worshem.

William McPherson, of the town of Sherman, shook hands with his many friends at the county seat Saturday last. William is a "Gold Democrat" and has no time for "Free Silver" men, and don’t see how they have time for themselves.

Jesse Lowe was exhibiting two fine buck Monday which he had purchased that morning. One was killed Sunday by Jacob Bresseman, of Lynn, and weighed 190 pounds. The other, by Mr. Kaufmann, of the town of Grant, and weighted 210 pounds. Both were fine specimens of deer.
