Telegrams were received this week announcing the serious illness and later death by paralysis of David Pitcher. He was a pioneer and long-time resident of Fond du Lac, having lived there since 1844. He recently went to live with his osn at Altoon, N. Y. His age was 83 years. Four children survive him. S. W. Pitcher of Oshkosh, traveling man for Armour, B. F. Pitcher of Alton, Mrs. S. E. Hatch of Mass., and Mrs. H. A. Pitcher of this city.
