Fred Huntzicker received a hammerless shot gun last week that cost more money than we have got-somewhere in the neighborhood between $250 and $300. It is a beauty, but too rich for our blood.
Mrs. J. D. McMillan, Mrs. Dewhurst, Mrs. Kountz, Miss Carrie Dickinson and Miss Bessie Lindsey went to Chicago Saturday to take treatment with Mrs. Blaine, the Christian Scientist. Mr. Dickinson accompanied his daughter.
James Conners, C. H. Sheldon and Geo. B. Parkhill of Thorp, were among the many visitors in this city last week who were disappointed on account of the non-appearance of the circuit judge to open court. They were not the only one thus disappointed - there were others.
NEW HOSPITAL IN NEILLSVILLE: Drs. Esch and Conroy have rented a large house on Hewett street which they have fitted up for a hospital, with a large operating room, where patients whose residence is out of the city can come and be operated upon and be boarded. Miss Agnes Zassenhaus of Milwaukee, a trained nurse, has been secured to take charge of the place. She will have an assistant and a house-keeper subject to her directions. This is a very good move on the part of our physicians and will be of great benefit to them in the way of drawing outside business to this city.
