G. J. Smith spent Sunday with his parents.
John Redmond has been on the sick list.
Frost entered quite a number of cellars during the cold snap.
Abram Vanderberg’s house had a close call from being burned last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Vanderberg were away from home and a rug which lay near the stove ignited. They arrived home just in time to extinguish it before it had gained any great headway.
W. J. Lawrence and E. G. Rowe went to Loyal Tuesday evening to help furnish music for a play.
G. A. Whalen was initiated into the M.W. of A. order last Tuesday.
We are very sorry to say that Greenwood will soon loose a very fine family as Mr. Stewart intends going to Washington in the spring, he having large logging interests out west.
Mrs. Geo. Alton is on the sick list this week.
