Bob Glass, Loyal’s popular barber, cam down yesterday morning to be present at the inspection of Company A.
Presbyterian sociable meets with Mrs. J. B. McMillen on Thursday afternoon of next week. A cordial invitation extended.
Capt. J. W. Hommell left for Eau Claire Tuesday evening to witness state inspection of the Guards which occurred that evening.
Harry and Herman North, sons of H. A. North, left the first of the week for Watertown, where they will attend Northwestern University.
A surprise was given Mrs. Silbey of the Third ward Monday evening, by a number of friends, the occasion being her 50th birthday. Refreshments were served.
Mrs. Albert Hubing of Reedsburg, arrived in the city Monday morning and is the guest of Mrs. Henry Schraeder. Mrs. Hubing, formerly Miss Edna Hahn, was married last Sunday evening at Reedsburg.
