Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Miller and Mrs. Burch, of Greenwood, were Tuesday visitors in the city.
Robert Glass, Richard Welch, Harold Kemery, Arthur Londgreen and Ernest Dickson constituted a party of young people who attended the dance in Chili Saturday evening.
Mrssrs. F. Falconer, H. W. Nedry, B. G. Miltimore, A. J. Le Roy, W. D. Charnness, T. G. Tabor and C. K. Ellingson are among Dorchester people drawn thither by matters pending in court this week.
Clyde Campbell returned Monday night, after a year’s absence from the city, for a few weeks’ visit with parents and friends. He has been employed at various points in the western states and was for a time, located in Seattle, Wash.
Guy Matheson is carrying his arm in a sling, the result of an accident which occurred in a practice game of foot ball last Friday. A slight fracture of the collar bone was the extent of his injuries.
Elmer Glass is home from Centralia for a two weeks’ visit with parents and friends. He is doctoring a badly injured hand which was cut while at work with a twisting machine in the furniture factory there in which he is employed.
Messrs. Victor Huntzicker, Robt. Boullion, L. G. Masters, Herman Yankee and Wm. Volkman are to comprise a party of hunters who will depart in a week or so for Thos. Kerns’ camp in Taylor county in search of deer or any other game which May come within range of their guns. They will be absent a week or ten days.
