Harris, Mrs. Charles (1878? - 29 Augl 1924)
Mrs. Charles Harris, wife of night policeman Harris, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Berquist at Appolina on Friday of last week. She had been a sufferer with cancer for the past eight months, and two weeks ago went to the home of her parents, where she passed away. She was forty-six years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Harris came to Owen, Clark County, Wis. about a year ago, and since then have made this place their home. She was a woman of many fine qualities, and was a patient sufferer with her dreaded disease. Funeral services were held Sunday at the M. E. Church at Appolina, Rev. Hadden officiating, and burial took place in the cemetery there. The bereaved husband has the heartfelt sympathy of a great many friends in this time of sorrow.
