Looker, Robert E. (1913? - 16 NOV 1925)

Robert Emmerson Looker, the twelve-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Looker, residing between this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) and the village of Withee, died Monday evening following a two week illness of influenza. The lad had been crippled for life, being unable to walk without help, and his weakened condition was such that he could not fight off the disease, with which he had been afflicted. Funeral services were conducted from the home Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Sigglekow of Withee, officiating. His remains were taken that evening to Viola, Wis., where his body will be laid to rest today in the cemetery, services being held there at the grave. The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of a large number of friends in the loss of their son.
