Kyle Gessert

Kyle R. Gessert, 14, Marshfield, died Friday, July 18, at the House of the Dove Hospice Home, Marshfield, following a motorcycle accident on July 3, 2003.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 23, at 2 p.m. at Rembs / Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel officiated. Burial was in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Pallbearers were Adam Alger, Ryan Foth, Justin Gessert, Nathan Gessert, Tony Jackson, and Eric Wolf.

Kyle R. Gessert was born on March 18, 1989, to Randy and Cheryl (nee Zuhlke) Gessert in Marshfield. He recently completed the eighth grade at Spencer Public School where he was a good student with an ambition of becoming a scientist. His interests included watching and playing football and video games and riding his dirt bike.

Survivors include his parents Randy and Cheryl Gessert, Marshfield; one brother, Cody, Marshfield; maternal grandparents, Duane and Susan Zuhlke, Oshkosh; paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Gessert, Marshfield; and the late Marion Glinske; maternal great-grandparents, Raymond and Jeanette Schlaak, Oshkosh; paternal great-grandparents, Herman and Ruth Voight, Marshfield, and Esther Collins, Loyal, and the late Sidney Collins.

Rembs / Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield, assisted the family with arrangements.
