Reynolds, John “Jack” William (23 June 1934 – 25 February 2022) With Flag
John “Jack” Reynolds, age 87, of Neillsville, passed away February 25, 2022.
He was born June 23, 1934, in Pittsville. Jack grew up on a farm in Pittsville
and after graduating from high school, he pursued a career in Finance and served
three years in the Army National Guard. After he retired, he worked for the
State of Wisconsin Gypsy moth program for several years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trap shooting. He hunted and fished the waters
of Alaska, Canada, Newfoundland and many lakes in the United States.
Jack leaves behind his wife, Judith, a daughter Dawn (Roger) Millard, son
Gregory (Jackie) Reynolds, stepdaughters Jill (Tom) Purnell, Laura (Matt) Shevey,
sisters Shirley (Don) Peterich, and Patricia Gamroth, grandchildren, Sara
Reynolds, Megan Reynolds, James Reynolds, Joleen (Ryan) DeBuck, Dakota (Alyssa)
Millard, Jessica (Cassidy) Lettow-Bartelt, Andrew and Jacob Shevey;
great-grandchildren, Ezme, Ivan, and Zada DeBuck. Preceding Jack in death were
his parents, William and Emma Reynolds, his brother Bill, grandson Jeremiah
Millard and late wife Elinor Reynolds.
In honoring Jack’s request, there will not be a public funeral.
