Miller, Mr./Mrs. Jens (Gold Anniv - 25 NOV 1924)

Mr. and Mrs. Jens Miller, residing in Hixon township, Clark County, Wis., celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1924, at the Danish Assembly Hall, and about one hundred fifty of their friends were present to offer congratulations. A bounteous wedding dinner was served, which was followed by a short program.

Mr. and Mrs. Miller came to Withee, Clark County about thirty years ago, and located on the farm on which they now reside, and were among the pioneers of northern Clark County. They were parents of nine children, five boys and four girls, all of who live near Withee, besides twenty-two grandchildren, of which all were present except one.

Mr. and Mrs. Miller received many beautiful flowers and other presents from their friends, and the hall was prettily decorated with flowers and ferns in keeping with the occasion.

Those present of the family were: Mrs. Westergaard, a daughter-in-law, and her son Alfred Miller of Hampton, Iowa; J. P. Hansen, Pine City, Minn., a nephew of Mr. Miller, N. P. Hansen, Chicago; Peter Miller and daughter of Hampton Iowa, a brother of Mr. Miller's, and Ole C. Anderson of Neillsville.

The day is one long to be remembered by those present, who were near and dear to them.
