Miss Mary Fox of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) and Mr. Roland Christensen of Withee, Clark County, were united in marriage Monday morning at 8:45 o'clock by Judge Williams of Milwaukee. Miss Viola Christensen, a sister of the groom, and Mr. John Skillstead of Milwaukee, acted as witnesses.

Miss Fox is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fox of this city, and up until about a year ago was chief operator at the local telephone exchange. She resigned her position here to go to Milwaukee, where she accepted a like position as operator in the Marquette University exchange. She is a likeable young lady, having spent the grater part of her life in this city, and is a graduate of the Owen High School.

Mr. Christensen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Christensen, residents of the town of Hixon, and for the past year or more has been employed in Milwaukee at the Buick Motor Co. assembling plant, where he holds a responsible position.

After the wedding the young couple left for Owen, where they are paying Mr. and Mrs. Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Fox a visit during the holidays.

They will be at home after Jan. 1 at 580 Jefferson St., Milwaukee, and their many friends here and at Withee wish for them a happy wedded life.
