Mr. and Mrs. Henry Machlett celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding on Sunday, Sept. 20, 1925. Over fifty old time friends and relatives were entertained at dinner at the home of their son, F. F. Machlett. During the afternoon and evening friends and neighbors dropped in to extend congratulations and revive memories of pioneer days. Mr. and Mrs. Machlett's daughters, Mrs. O. C. Cox and family of Kennan, and Mrs. Wm. Mais and family of Rib Lake, and sons, Ben Machlett and wife of Eau Claire and F. F. Machlett and family of this place (Owen, Clark County, Wis.), were all present.
