Ole Selge, living one mile west of Dorchester, was badly hurt during the wind storm that passed through that vicinity July 7th, that he died of his injuries last Thursday. He was struck by a portion of the roof blown from his barn.

Adolph and John Jorstand, two small boys of Longwood, were arraigned Thursday last before Justice Croters, charged with going into G. B. Andrews’ store with other lads and pilfering. The case was adjourned till this week Friday.

Mike Prock went to La Crosse Monday, to attend the convention of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, held in that city July 16, 17 and 18. Mr. Prock is a delegate from Neillsville Branch No. 150. This is a large and flourishing fraternal insurance order.

Mrs. Letta Nason, who has been teaching the past year in Seattle, Wash., arrived in Neillsville Wednesday. She stopped off at Altoona for a time with her sister Mrs. Jule Sontag, who accompanied her to Neillsville for a visit with relatives and friends in this city.

Henry Weingardt, an employee at the furniture factory, met with quite a serious accident on Saturday last by which his left hand was badly mangled. We understand that he slipped and the hand came in contact with the groover with the above mentioned result. Mr. Weingardt recently came here from Baltimore.

Tuesday evening a passing vehicle struck the wheel of a buggy standing at the curb on Hewett street, scaring the horse hitched thereto, which tore loose running up the street, scattering the contents of the buggy about in the road and wrecking the buggy. The horse is the one driven by Dr. Barnes when he was fatally injured last winter and is now owned by Aug. Abliter.
