Miss Barbara Ann Knack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Knack, was given in
marriage by her father June 30 to Gordon Allen Denk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Denk. Both couples are of Loyal. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Tony
Karls at St. James' Catholic Church, Madison, where the newlyweds reside at 1911
Greenway Cross following a wedding trip.
Mrs. Kris Noeldner of DeForest was matron of honor and Jeffrey Denk, Long Beach,
California, best man. Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Sharon Schoonover, Mrs.
Diane Anderegg and Mrs. Kathy Hutchinson with Mrs. Jodi Dahlby, organist. Edward
Noeldner was usher.
The bridal gown was ivory-colored and her attendant was in lavender. Both had
flowers in their hair and carried lavender pompons, purple statice and pink and
white mini-carnations with pompons.
The reception and buffet were at Hoyt Park, Madison.
The bride is a 1979 graduate of Loyal High School and attended the University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire for two years. She is a word processor for Warzyn
Engineering in Madison. Her husband is a 1975 Loyal High School graduate and a
1977 graduate of Western Wisconsin Technical Institute-La Crosse with a degree
in commercial art.
