Johnstone, Albert (24 Sept. 1884 - 13 July 1968)

Albert Johnstone GREENWOOD- Martin Alfred Johnstone, 83, Greenwood, died at noon, Saturday (13 July 1968) at the Bethel Convalescent Home in Arpin where he had resided for the past month.

Services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Wednesday, at the Hill Funeral Home here by the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold, pastor of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The body will repose at the funeral home until time of services.

Mr. Johnstone was born September 24, 1884 in Norway, and as a child came with his parents to the United States and settled in Chicago. His marriage to Anna Englebretson, who preceded him in death, took place at Greenwood, December 13, 1914.

After their marriage, the couple lived and farmed northeast of Greenwood.

Survivors are two sons, Archie of Greenwood; and Albert, address unknown.

A son and a sister preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Jim Englebretson, Conrad Krogness, Dell Johnson, Lawrence Larson, Lee Larson and Ken Dyre.
