Elnora Erdman
Elnora R. Erdman, 89, Colby, Wisconsin, died on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Colonial Center, Colby. Funeral services were held at noon on Monday, Aug. 18, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Green Grove. The Rev. Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker officiated. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Colby. Pallbearers were Dennis Erdman, Scott Erdman, Larry Degenhardt, Lyle Kloth, Vince Nechuta, and Tom Boneske.
Elnora Glenzer was born on Aug. 14, 1913, to Albert and Theresa (nee Lindner) Glenzer. She married Oscar Erdman on Sept. 25, 1929. They farmed in the Town of Colby. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Pearl Erdman, Colby, and Joyce Degenhardt, Colby; one son, Galen (Shirley) Erdman, Curtiss; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marcella Lord, Marshfield; and one brother, Eugene (Jeannie) Glenzer, Rib Lake.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Oscar, on Feb. 7, 1989; two sisters, Carolyn and Delores; and two brothers, Charles and Alfred.
Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, assisted the family with arrangements.
