Raatz, August (1850? - 13 May 1927)
August Raatz, a resident of the city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) for the past three years, died at the home of his niece, Mrs. Hans Moeller, at noon on Friday of last week, following an illness which has confined him to his home for the past year or more. He was seventy-six years of age, and for the past several years had not been very active. Funeral services were conducted on Monday at Eau Claire, at which place the body was taken on Sunday, from the Lenmark undertaking parlors, and burial made in that city. He is survived by one daughter who resides in Eau Claire.
