Johnson, Dorothy (Marriage - 19 Jul 1926)
A quiet wedding was solemnized at the home of Mrs. A. G. Johnson, Monday morning, when her daughter Dorothy and Henry W. Weddig of Owen, Clark County, Wis., son of Mrs. Meyers of Withee, were united in marriage. The ceremony was read by Rev. W. P. Powell of this city. Miss Irene Meyers played the Lohengrin wedding march.
The bride wore a gown of blue georgette and carried a shower bouquet of Larkspur and Tea Roses. She was attended by Miss Viola Weddig, sister of the groom, who was gowned in gray georgette and taffeta, and carried a bouquet of American beauty roses. The groom was attended by Jerome Johnson, a brother of the bride.
After the ceremony, a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served at the Woodland Hotel, after which the bride and groom departed for a motor trip through Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and other points of interest. They will be home to their many friends after August first.
Mrs. Weddig has been employed at the Northern State Power Co. office for the past four eyars, and is well known in this city. Mr. Weddig is a prominent druggist at Owen, and has been employed at Jensen Brothers Drug Store for the past five years.
