Jensen, Christine (Marriage - 14 May 1927)
A very pretty church wedding took place Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, at the Danish Lutheran Church of Withee, Clark County, Wis., when Miss Christine Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Jensen, residents of the town of Longwood, Clark County, was united in marriage to Mr. Walter Blunck, also a resident of the town of Longwood.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Petersen, pastor of the Danish Church, before a large number of relatives and friends of the contracting parties. They were attended by Mrs. Herman Blunck, as bridesmaid, a sister of the bride, and Mr. William Blunck as best man, brother of the groom. Following the ceremony the young people went to the home of the bride's parents, where a wedding dinner was served, and in the evening a reception took place.
The bride is a charming young lady, and for the past four years has been assistant in the Withee post office. In this position she became acquainted with a great many people, many of who will be pleased to learn of her marriage.
The groom is an industrious young man, well liked in the community in which he lives and has the best wishes of his friends for a long wedded life.
Mr. and Mrs. Blunck will be at home in Withee after June 1.
