Carlson, Wilhelmina (1885? - 11 NOV 1927)

News of the death of Wilhelmina Carlson, wife of R. M. Carlson, which occurred at West Side Hospital, Chicago, Friday of last week, was received here Saturday, by her friends with much regret.

She had gone to Chicago to the home of her daughter, where it was believed that the change and the care of specialists would restore her health, but all seemed to be of no avail. She had been a constant sufferer for the past several months, and had returned home from the hospital at Chippewa Falls only two days before her departure for Chicago.

Mrs. Carlson came here (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) with her husband and family from Chicago, nine years ago, and since then they have made their home on their farm a mile and a half north of the city. She was forty-two years of age at the time of her death.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Gladys of this city and Mrs. E. J. MacAfee of Chicago, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church at Forest Park, Ill., and burial took place at Forest Home Cemetery.

The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of their numerous relatives and friends in the loss of their wife and mother.
