Lutz, Herman (1881? - 31 Mar 1928)
Herman Lutz died at the hospital at Chippewa Falls early Saturday morning of last week, the cause being influenza. Mr. Lutz had gone to the hospital only last week to seek medical aid for Bright's disease, and shortly after being there contracted the flu, which took his life.
Deceased was a native of Germany and came to this country many years ago, and for the past twenty years has made Owen, Clark County, Wis. his home. He was forty-six years of age at the time of his death, and during his residence here has been employed by the John S. Owen Lumber Co.
He leaves to mourn, his wife and three children.
Funeral services were conducted from the home on Monday afternoon, Rev. W. P. Powell, pastor of the Congregational Church, officiating, and burial took place in Riverside Cemetery.
Those from away who came to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. Hoveland and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Bruchert of Eau Claire.
