Schopfer, Mrs. John (1887? - 24 Jan 1929)

Mrs. John Schopfer, a resident of the town of Holway, Taylor County, living seven and one-half miles northeast of Owen, Clark County, Wis., died at her home Thursday evening of influenza-pneumonia. She had been ill for about ten days, and the illness was more than her strength would stand. She was forty-one years of age.

Funeral services were conducted from the Holway Lutheran Church on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Hartman of Colby officiating, and burial took place in Pine Hill Cemetery, two miles north of Curtiss, Clark County.

Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn, eight children, the eldest being fourteen years of age.
