Hanson, John (1853? - 8 May 1929)
John Hanson, a resident of Curtiss, Clark County, Wis., died Wednesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Machlett, at Curtiss, at about eight o'clock, following an illness of nearly three months duration. He contracted the flu early in February and since that time has been in a serious condition. He was 75 years of age and for the past year or more has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Machlett. He is the father of Mrs. H. L. Randall of this city, Mrs. F. Machlett, Curtiss, Mrs. Wm. Irvin, Lewiston, Mont., Mrs. John Tully, Kenosha, Mrs. Harry Bailey, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. A. Johnson, Menomonie, Mrs. John Mote, Cleveland, Ohio, Anna B. Hanson, Wausau and Ida Hanson, Honolulu, and two sons, Ole and Peter of Abbotsford.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon from the Machlett home at Curtiss, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Skagen, pastor of the Norwegian Lutheran Church, officiating.
