The remains of Arthur Clifton, whose death occurred in Minneapolis on Tuesday, were brought here for burial Wednesday night, and funeral services are taking place this afternoon, with Rev. Bennetts of Thorp, pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating.

Mr. Clifton's death occurred suddenly Tuesday, and his three brothers, Roy and Percy of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.), and George of Withee, were summoned. They brought the body here for burial in the family lot at Riverside Cemetery, where his parents are buried.

The deceased was quite well known here and at Withee, having visited here for several weeks the forepart of the summer, and for years past. He was employed as foreman of a round house in Minneapolis.
